A book built by Hot Springs, for Hot Springs

Through Our Eyes was born from an open call to our community: share your photos, your stories, and your truths. The response was overwhelming. From the first responders who braved the rising waters to the neighbors who pulled one another to safety, hundreds of submissions poured in. Together, these accounts provide a raw, ground-level perspective on how an isolated mountain town, cut off from the world, leaned on one another to survive and begin the long journey of rebuilding.

Born in the wake of Hurricane Helene’s devastation, we are a volunteer-led movement of neighbors helping neighbors. Our mission is to not just restore what was lost, but to work side-by-side to build a stronger, more resilient, and more vibrant Hot Springs for everyone to enjoy.
